What to write when one of your dear friends mom passes away?
I had known Marilyn Perkins since middle school, as her daughter and I met in sixth grade.
I'm sad and hurting for her family.
Her death brought me back to the Tri-Cities, where I grew up.
You'd think I'd remember where I was going since I learned how to drive there, but I encountered lots of new roads, turns and sentiments.
How do you handle grief?
