The Port is stepping it up a notch and no longer wants you to waste your time, rattle door knobs, be stuck in line, or have to look under bathroom stall doors, because volia, happy little tooshlights that let you know when a stall is empty and when it is full.
The sensor is activated when the latch is closed...not when you're sitting on the toilet.
I didn't even notice the lights, until I was in the stall...because I was observant and saw an open door.
Technology...amazing...but necessary in a bathroom? I had seen this technology in a parking garage before so you didn't have to go up and down every aisle, which would be nice, but it was a very empty parking garage, so again, not necessary, but I see the future need for that...since apparently time is money and shopping centers don't want shoppers wasting their time looking for a space or getting frustrated, they want them to shop!
And yes, I know this is stretching it as a new thing, but you don't want to know the new thing that led me into the bathroom in the first place....
When was the last time you used a public bathroom?
When was the last time you had an accident?
