A friend who lives in a different state wanted us to drop off a hot fudge sundae for a friend who lives in our city. We were game even with snow coming down.
She came to the door and was ever so excited! We commented on her layer of sweaters and her knit hat, laughing she might need more layers to eat the sundae. She mentioned she was freezing and her heater had went out the night before, 'could we help?'

And seriously, yay, for far-away friends/guardian angels who send you on ice cream missions.
Of course, I had to try all the flavors, now I have a new bakery I need to visit soon!
