Wander Well

Lots of people chose words of the year.

I'm going to be one of those people this year.

The word of the year is - WANDER

:to walk or move in a leisurely, casual, aimless way. (I'll probably wander swiftly-I walk fast.)

:to extend in an irregular course or direction. (most people think I do this anyway)

:to move around or go to different places usually without having a particular purpose or direction (Work will be taking me all sorts of places and so does trying new things)

: to follow a path with many turns (Life has been doing that since the beginning!)

: to go away from a path, course, etc. (I was in my last job for 13.5 years so I'm definitely going away from a known path) 

I want to wander. But I want to wander well. I want to write down what I see, who I meet, what I experience.I have no idea what this year is going to hold - I'm starting a new job, I'm still writing, I'm still trying new things.... I don't have control and I don't know where I'll end up, but I'm very thankful my family is willing to wander with me...wherever that may be.

I'm willing to wander and see where it leads.
I believe there is beauty to be found in the aimless journey.
