What a wild world that I knew nothing about and actually still don't!
There are many ways to place a wager and so many races to bet on; so many in fact that some people don't even watch the horses - their to busy fusing over their pari-mutuel ventures.
I found this interesting - from the tip sheet:
"The racetrack has no interest in the outcome of the races. We just want everyone to have a good time" ....and bet a lot of money
We had a great time and didn't bet a lot of money.
